Meet the Coach: A Life of Creativity

Marcus has graduate qualifications in Design and Architecture, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Sustainability & Environmental Design. He has completed post-graduate study in Digital Communications Strategy and has a Certificate in Business Coaching. He is currently enrolled in the Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program at RMIT.

Marcus taught design at RMIT University and the University of Melbourne for more than a decade and jointly ran successful design firm BCBA Studio for 12 years. Marcus has worked with non-profits across Australia and the United Kingdom, in particular tackling solutions for homelessness and the housing crisis with creativity, empathy & insight. He is currently writing a book entitled “How to Write About Design (and Why You Should)”.

Marcus created Baumgart Coaching as a way of sharing nearly 30 years of creative education and innovative work. He loves nothing more than collaborating with clever people and thrives on dialogue.
